Architecting the Future: Dr. Marc Tremblay. 25 Mar 2003: Ace's Hardware as a detailed interview with Dr. Marc Tremblay, a Distinguished Engineer at Sun. Dr. Tremblay was the co-architect of Sun's first 64-bit processor, the UltraSPARC-I and served as chief architect for the UltraSPARC-II and the dual-core MAJC project. Currently, he is working on a highly multithreaded processor expected to deliver 30 times the throughput of the current 1.2 GHz UltraSPARC III. He shares his insight on how CPU architects will target server workloads in the futu [RootPrompt.org — Nothing but Unix]

This could be interesting. the technology sounds fun, but we know the speed of the processor isn't currently the major problem with servers. The storage and bus are the slow points.
