Encouraging Knowledge Sharing. Quote: “Often, we assume that people share based on “what's in it for me”…i.e. sharing of knowledge happens because I think it will help me some how. For example, when something good happens to a friend…we share it with others. it always amazes me how much people forget. I think as society gets more and more individualistics and isolated, the verbal communicaiton and thus the memory preserving functions diminish signifincatly.. replacing it is pseudo memor and nostalgia for things that never existed.
